Massage is an integral part of keeping fit and healthy.

Remedial Massage as a treatment looks at functional and structural dysfunctions in the body and aims to correct them through numerous massage techniques.
In a Remedial Massage the therapist will perform a general health screen and several orthopaedic tests on the client before the massage commences. This screening process identifies the muscle groups that are causing limitations for the client.
Assess all relevant sports and the ways in which the human body moves to compete in those sports.
It is typically required pre and post events, where both treatments are of equal importance. Pre event Sports Massage aim to ensure the athlete is ready to compete at their optimum level. Where post event Sports Massage ensure the athletes recover correctly. Sports Massage also identifies injury prevention and any muscle imbalances that may lead to injury.
The term Dry Needling is used to differentiate the use of needling in a Western Culture from the use of needling in an Eastern Culture, which is referred to as acupuncture.
Dry Needling utilises a solid, filament needle, as is used in the practice of acupuncture, and relies on the stimulation of specific reactions in the target tissue for its therapeutic effect.
Stretching is an integral part of exercise. When stretching is performed it will improve performance, decrease recovery time and give an overall feeling of wellbeing.
If required Total Wellness Massage therapists can create a tailored stretching program.
